addition to the local technical expertise, referred to previously, customers of the Body
Plant can call upon the substantial resources of the Company. These include the Research
and Development laboratories, located at St Austell, Cornwall, UK, and the specialised
Ceramic Technical Service team. The R & D Department is equipped with the most up-to-date technical and scientific equipment for studying all aspects of minerals and their industrial uses. They are regularly called upon to assist with a wide range of investigations on behalf of our ceramic customers. The technical service team of experienced ceramic engineers, are available to travel world-wide advising and liaising with the management and technical staff at our customers’ factories. They have the support of a dedicated laboratory facility and their mission is to ensure that the ceramic manufacturer gets the maximum benefit from buying ECC International products. |
